What's in store for SLDD?
We are a friendly, fun loving group that encourages interaction amongst ourselves and our dogs more than rampant competition. This is not to say that we don't aspire to national competition and try to learn new tricks.
We also work with dog owners to become better throwers. At the end of the day if we've had fun and our dogs have enjoyed the experience, it's a success. At a typical Play Date our dogs and selves work together to maintain a fun but safe environment.
We particpate in local competitions, perform in exhibitions and sell T-shirts.
Proceeds from exhibitons are contibuted to local and national pet rescue groups. Proceeds from other events pay for the website.as well as meet other expenses we may have.

We have an event calendar where you can find our play dates, competition, and other events of general interest. If you have a disc oriented event or even a dog oriented event, let us know and we'll be glad to put your event on our calendar.
We have a number of shirt designs that you may wish to take a look at available for sale at this web site address.
This year we're going to concentrate on free Style as well as continue exhibitions and other discdog related events, across Missouri and the St. Louis area.
Over the past year we've done exhibitions for the St. Louis Slammers, the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Champs, St. Charles Humane Society, Bark in the Park, St. Charles Dog Park, Southside Christian School, we'd like to do more of them, so if you'd like us to, just e-mail us.
We ask for a small donation to a dog related charity like the Humane Society, Aussie Rescue or Border Collie Rescue, Missouri Kansas Border Collie Rescue
We also performed at the St. Louis Canine Olympics, proceeds from which helped us build this website.
